On Monday September 12th 2022, the Academic English Committee represented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Aveen Mohammed Hasan, the Head of the Department of English Language at the Faculty of Humanities, and Asst. Prof. Mr. Ivan Hasan Murad,  the Director of Language Center met with the teachers of the Academic English module. The meeting started at 10 am and lasted for more than an hour. At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Aveen presented the module specifications in terms of the number of hours that should be covered on a weekly basis, students' attendance and participation, visitor's fees, teacher’s commitment and duties, teacher’s activities and use of moodle, the division of course grades, and the workload that both the teacher and the students should achieve. Also, from his side, Mr. Ivan stressed that all students should have their module books and workbooks so as to follow up with their teachers while they explain. Moreover, he thanked the members of the academic English committee who prepared the module presentation slides for the hard work they have put on the preparation of the module. Teachers' commitment to the module requirements was also stressed as this module is unified and teachers are required to be a part of the whole assessment strategy. 

At the end of the meeting, the attendees were asked to submit their details for the IT team to create their users and passwords to use it to upload their activities and presentations on Moodle.
